On Nov 24th cooper purchased a one-way ticket to fly Seattle,Washington.

''The man was well dressed with black suit and neatly pressed white collar shirt and there was clip on tie, mother of Pearl''

described by flight attend named Florence Schaffner

Cooper boarded the aircraft and took a seat 18C in the rear of the passenger cabin. He lit a cigarette and ordered a Bourbon and soda.
Meanwhile cooper gave a note to the schaffner.she thought 'just an another guy hitting on me and trying to giving his phone number'.she didn't look at the note and dropped the note into the purse.but cooper insisted

Madam you would better look at the note
"I have a bomb in my briefcase.I want you to sit beside me"

Schaffner did as he requested and quietly asked him to see the bomb.
Cooper opened his briefcase and she saw a large cylindrical battery and tangles of wires and eight red cylinders.
After closing the briefcase he dictated his demands

'I want US$200,000 in cash and put it in the knapsack.I want four parachutes and a fuel truck stand by at the airport Seattle to refuel the aircraft'

Schaffner conveyed Cooper's demand to the cockpit to inform the pilot named  William Scott that plane is being hijacked.when she returned,he was wearing dark sunglass.then the pilot informed to the authorities on ground and relays Cooper's demand.
The plane circled around in the air for 2 hours to allow seattle police and FBI gathered  to arrange  parachutes and money.

Details of DB cooper- released by FBI
According to the Schaffner....

''cooper was clam and quiet.he was never cruel or nasty.
he wasn't even nervous instead he was rather nice. at one point he offered to pay for his 2nd drinks and told me to keep the change. He seemed like an intellectual person.he looked out of the window and said 'looks like Tacoma down there and he also mentioned, correctly, the mcchord air force base was only a 20min drive from Seattle tacomo airport''

Then Cooper requested to have the meals for the flight crew during the stop in Seattle.
At 05.39 pm plane landed at the Seattle tacamo airport. A bag filled with cash and parachutes delivered to the aircraft then Cooper released all the 36 passengers along with Schaffner.

When plane took off again around  07.40pm there was only 5 people.
Copilot, captain, flight engineer sat in the cockpit and cooper and tina mucklow(flight attendant) Joined in the cabin.
According to the Cooper's instructions plain was flying to mexico but cooper demanded

''height of plane should not be higher than 10,000 feet,no faster than 100 knots and cooper also insisted landing gear remain deployed and the wings flaps be lowered 15 degrees and the cabin remain unpressurized''

out of the Cooper's site, plane was followed by two fighter jets scrambled from nearby the air force base.

Cooper told Tina mucklow to join them in the cockpit.at the last moment she noticed cooper was tying something on his waist.
At 08.13 pm crew noticed a sudden upward tilt in the plane's tail section
Which requires trimming to get the plane back to its flight level.
Investigators believe this could be the moment when DB cooper jumped out from the back stairs of the plane into an unknown fate.

Two followed air jets pilots didn't see anyone or anything jumped out of  Boeing aircraft due to raining and cloudy sky.
In1980 a young boy named Brian found $5800 by the banks of the Columbia river while he and his father was collecting the firewoods.Brian and his father went to the FBI office to handover the bills.some of the bills were impossible to identify but few of them were legible.the serial numbers of the money had matched with the money which db cooper extorted.

Bundles of extorted money totalling $5800 found by the bank of Columbia river on 1980

Many people came to the conclusion that db cooper returned to burry the money to provoke the FBI.most of them still believe he is no longer living,he didn't survive from his jump.

However the case of DB cooper fascinated by many people but frustrated FBI forever.

Every year in Ariel,Washington people have been gathered to commemorate the day of Cooper's skyjacking. The men who 'beat the entire system with courage'.
People really love the mysterious man DB cooper cause he was never cruel to the passengers.

Numbers of book have been written by many authors and in 1981, a film named 'The pursuit of D.B cooper' became hit in the box office

However the case of DB cooper has been closed by FBI.it has been called one the longest, most exhaustive investigation in U.S history.
